A full list has been revealed of defects plaguing the new fleet of Sydney's River Class ferries. The government has conceded 43 defects raised, across 10 vessels. Among them, that ferries cannot pass under certain bridges across the Parramatta River, if passengers are seated on the top deck. Problems with engines and gearboxes have also caused them to stall in reverse, in emergency conditions. Repairs have been carried out.
