Spending the weekend strolling through brocante (flea market) is one of my favorite things to do, and how I furnished the majority of my apartment in Paris. It is treasure hunting, and there are all sorts of beautiful, unique, odd, and interesting items to uncover. In Paris, several brocantes pop up in changing locations around the city each weekend. There’s also the Puces if you have a bigger budget, Vanves if you’re willing to wake up early, and the occasional big events, like Foire de Chatou
