This is a pretty basic version of a calypso groove, the true professional steel bands take all five of these instruments to an extreme level. But I wanted a little reference video for a basic groove, so I made this! Cowbell, Iron, Scrapey/Scratcher/Guiro, Congas, Drum Set. For those that don’t know, the “Iron” is a break drum off an old car. I got mine out of a dumpster at the Les Schwab in Ballard (Seattle)
