Happy days here for this young mare and her baby where they can graze in our big field. This young mare had been having problems letting her baby nurse the first day after the colt was born. We were able to help the baby latch on and get the colostrum and then start nursing but as you can see here she still gives her baby a hard time when he wants to nurse.
