Feb 28, 2017 · We have been MLK weekend a number of times and it’s never been unbearable. We have also been at NYE and Easter Sunday. MLK weekend is nothing like those. Just busier than a normal Monday after the holidays in January. Also, when people pull their kids out of school for a trip, sometimes they’ll do it to coincide with a long weekend.

Feb 18, 2023 · 1) My vote is last weekend to avoid a) Marathon week/weekend (Jan 8-12th)…b) MLK weekend when flight $$ are crazy 2) Yes, I would still go but I’d probably need 3 full days 3) I’ve done 3 parks in a single day (not everyone’s cup of tea, I know) and it was very doable!
