Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Wednesday a plan to cut 40% of her office's staff by October in an effort to save taxpayers about $700 million per year.

The Trump administration, under Director Tulsi Gabbard, is significantly downsizing the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, cutting its budget by over $700 million and reducing its workforce by more than 40%.

The director of national Intelligence accuses the officials, who served under Biden and Obama, of politicising intelligence for partisan or personal gain.
