Game 1 of the season is in the books. The Trail Blazers look fun and perhaps flawed, but certainly entertaining. Hard to ask for too much more.

A year ago, there probably weren't too many people talking about SIUE's impending basketball season. It's funny what an NCAA tournament appearance can do.
