At 12:56 a.m. on Wednesday, the NWS Fort Worth TX released a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 8 a.m. The watch is for Wise, Cooke, Grayson, Jack, Montague and Young counties.

Scattered severe thunderstorms, hail and damaging winds are in store for a large stretch of the country on April 29, forecasters said.
