On day 2 of the Sean Grayson murder trial, the two sides discussed legal matters and agreed to not use certain loaded terms in their testimony, with opening statements set to begin Wednesday.

People gathered outside the Peoria County Courthouse to protest for racial equity just before the start of the Sean Grayson trial, with media outlets lining up to cover the event.

Those attending the trial, which is expected to last a week and a half, will be greeted by protests around the courthouse in downtown Peoria, where the trial was moved after Grayson's attorneys, Daniel Fultz and Mark Wykoff, were granted a motion.
