Penn State moved up in the College Football Playoff rankings, setting up one of the highest-ranked matchups of the college football season in Saturday’s Big Ten championship game.

The Penn State Nittany Lions navigated an offseason of change, critical injuries, three tense road games, that loss and its resulting boos to earn a date with the Oregon Ducks in Indianapolis.

The Big Ten race has come down to Oregon vs. Penn State. For the first time this season, the Ducks and Nittany Lions will clash in the 2024 Big Ten Championship Game (Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS).
