Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a two-run 430-foot walk-off homer to centerfield to give the San Diego Padres a comeback 6-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night. The Angels manage only four hits, including Taylor Ward’s 10th homer of the season, on their way to a 5-1 loss. They don’t get a runner into scoring position after the third inning.

Things went according to plan Wednesday night in the Padres’ 5-1 victory over the Angels. Things were at least back to normal with the bullpen. And the Padres got what might be the new normal from Randy Vásquez.
