Ole Miss is reportedly working on a new contract extension with Lane Kiffin after a crazy week for college football coaches. James Franklin led the list after being fired by Penn State, along with Indiana's Curt Cignetti getting another pay bump and is now the third highest-paid in the nation.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is among the top candidates to replace James Franklin with the Penn State Nittany Lions.

"Importantly, homeowners have noticed these consistently lower rates, driving an uptick in refinance activity," said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac's chief economist. "Combined with increased housing inventory and slower house price growth, these rates also are creating a more favorable environment for those looking to buy a home."

Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin is expected to be one of the Florida Gators' top targets to replace Billy Napier as the program's new head coach. Napier was fired on Sunday -- a day after Florida beat Mississippi State -- after going 22-23 during his nearly four seasons leading the program.
