The Florida baseball team has surged to No. 4 in The Athletic's latest college baseball Top 25 rankings, buoyed by an unbeaten start to their season. The Gators have a perfect 7-0 record to start their season. They kicked off the 2025 campaign with series sweeps over Air Force Dayton bookending a midweek win over Florida A&M.

After two weeks, the top high school baseball teams in the Florida are starting to hit their stride. IMG Academy, Trinity Christian Academy, Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Jesuit – no strangers to receiving national attention – all continue to impress.
