DECATUR, Ga. - The third juvenile wanted in connection with the shooting death of MARTA bus operator Leroy Ramos over a $2.50 fare surrendered to DeKalb County police on Monday evening.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Two juveniles made their first court appearance early Monday afternoon in connection with the death of 47-year-old MARTA bus driver Leroy Ramos at the Decatur MARTA station.

Leroy Ramos, 47, was shot and killed during a “fare dispute” at the Decatur station just after 6:30 p.m. Friday, MARTA officials said.

Dozens of MARTA bus drivers, friends, and family gathered Sunday outside the MARTA bus stop in Decatur to honor 47-year-old Leroy Ramos, who lost his life on Friday over a $2.50 fare.

A MARTA bus driver who was fatally shot Friday evening in Decatur had been working in Atlanta for only a few months, officials said. The driver was identified by police as 47-year-old Leroy Ramos.
