As the Clemson Tigers stumble through what should have been a championship-contending year, the recruits are starting to back out

Stancil, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound lineman, originally committed to the Tigers in June after choosing Clemson over Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, and Miami. His flip marks the second decommitment in just a week and continues a trend that’s become familiar after last year’s class saw several late departures.

Clemson (3-4 overall, 2-3 ACC) is one of three ACC teams with byes in Week 9. The Tigers' next two opponents, the Duke Blue Devils and Florida State Seminoles, are also idle Saturday.

Tigerama is a student-led pep rally and homecoming event. According to a news release, Tigerama was started in 1957 by Joe Blandford and Clemson Blue Key as a Homecoming pep rally to celebrate Clemson students and their traditions. Sixty-eight years later, it is the nation's second-largest, fully student-run pep rally.
