The woman who accused Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy of attacking her last week, resulting in a case in which the district attorney has so far declined to pursue charges, has been granted a protective order against him by a Texas judge.

Tia Jones, Xavier Worthy’s ex-fiancee, says she filed for and received a temporary protective order against the Kansas City Chiefs receiver.

The arrest of Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy became the biggest story of the last weekend before free agency, until the district attorney announced Worthy won't be charged at this time.

The Chiefs wide receiver was arrested Saturday, but prosecutors quickly announced they wouldn't pursue charges.
