The Denver Broncos went 97 yards on their opening drive against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 of NFL preseason on Saturday evening. The four-play drive was capped off by rookie running back RJ Harvey's eight-yard touchdown run:
Garguilo was the only offensive lineman for the Broncos who played more than one spot against the 49ers, but it was because Calvin Throckmorton left early with an injury. Garguilo played guard on both sides of the line and performed well, but it would be beneficial to see more reps at left guard and center.
While a majority of the Broncos’ starters aren’t expected to play against the Cardinals on Saturday night (7:30 p.m. MT, 9NEWS/NFL Network), there’s still plenty that matters in the prime-time matchup.
The game will be locally televised in the Denver market on 9News (KUSA) with Steve Levy (play-by-play) and Ryan Harris (analyst) providing commentary while Cynthia Frelund and Scotty Gange report from the sidelines.
