TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Alexis Pupillo lasered a home run over the centerfield wall to put an exclamation point on Alabama softball's weekend in the Crimson Classic. Her two-run home run gave the No. 22 Crimson Tide a comfortable lead heading into the final inning of Sunday's 6-3 win over UAB to complete the weekend sweep.

Alabama softball went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend at the T-Mobile Crimson Classic, setting a school record in the process.

Both teams resemble the Tide and may be on the same level. That said, Alabama swept the weekend in mostly dominating fashion - but that is what was expected of them against these three creampuffs. In short,

Donte Bacchus shined off the bench with 16 points and 5 rebounds, while Corneilous Williams had 14 of each for another double-double in the win and Taye Fields (12 points) and Daniel Ortiz (10 points) also scored in double figures.
