Defence minister Khawaja Asif and ISI chief General Asim Malik will meet Taliban counterparts in Doha after Islamabad’s strikes broke a 48‑hour truce and killed at least 10 people.

Islamabad has repeatedly accused Afghanistan’s Taliban regime of providing space to Tehreek‑e‑Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and for coordinated cross‑border attacks on Pakistan.
