As vote counting continues for the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and incumbent Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has taken a lead of 254 votes from the prestigious New Delhi seat.

The BJP was leading in 43 of Delhi's 70 assembly seats while AAP was ahead in 27, according to the early trends released by the Election Commission

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hopes to dislodge the well-entrenched Aam Aadmi Party from power and form a government in Delhi after 27 years.

Arvind Kejriwal, is currently out on bail in connection with the liquor scam. The Supreme Court imposed certain conditions on his bail.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has crossed the majority mark in the Delhi assembly election results, as per the early trends from the Election Commission. The BJP is currently leading on 38 seats while the AAP is ahead on 27 seats.
