APPLETON, Wis–Air Wisconsin announces layoffs at its hubs in Appleton and Milwaukee. A notice to the state Department of Workforce Development details a loss of 513-positions, 219 of which are in management, and 294 in the rank-and-file.

Air Wisconsin could cut more than 500 positions at Wisconsin airports. The positions being terminated include pilots, flight attendants, dispatchers, mechanics and more. Affected employees are based at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and Appleton International Airport.
