SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole have challenged each other since the Golden State Warriors drafted Poole 28th overall in 2019. They would see who could make more shots in a row in practice and go at it in scrimmages, friendly competition that helped bring out the best in each other.

Stephen Curry scored 26 points before leaving the game with an ankle injury in the final minute as the Golden State Warriors beat the Washington Wizards 122-114.

After a good start by the Wizards, who dominated the first two quarters, Andrew Wiggins, Steph Curry and company managed to turn the score around to give the Warriors the win, who now have 21 wins and 20 losses on the season.
