The Kansas State Wildcats are stepping into their most challenging moment of the early 2025–26 season. Tuesday night brings a trip to Bloomington for a showdown

The Associated Press revealed its national men's and women's college basketball players of the week for week 3.

Elias Rapieque was credited with three of the early turnovers, but several K-State players were sloppy with the ball. Haggerty lost three turnovers in the fist half, too. Nebraska took advantage by scoring 17 points off of turnovers in the first half.

Kansas State came up just short against the Nebraska after putting 98 points on Mississippi State and 99 on California. Indiana’s defense has been stout this season, but the ‘Cats will challenge it in a way that no other team has proven capable of doing up to this point.

For the 224th time in school history, the Kansas State Wildcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers will square off in men's college basketball. Regular-season meetings between these former conference rivals have been common, but facing each other in an MTE is a rarity — and that's exactly what we get tonight in the Hall of Fame Classic final.

The Wildcats, overall, have had a good start to their season, and the Hall of Fame Classic gave them an opportunity to play two opponents from Power Four conferences.
