Golden State has officially traded Dennis Schröder to the Detroit Pistons, who also received Lindy Waters III and a second-round pick from the Warriors. The Pistons announced the move as “part of a series of transactions,” part of the mega-trade that saw Jimmy Butler dealt from Miami to Golden State.

The Detroit Pistons have significant salary-cap space going into the trade deadline on Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. ET. They also have a sixth-place team that they don't want to mess with. Detroit picked up second-round picks in 2027 and 2031 in exchange for helping the Philadelphia 76ers get under the luxury-tax line by taking on forward KJ Martin and his $7.
