Australia captain Steve Smith steered clear of commenting on India's Dubai advantage at the Champions Trophy following the four-wicket defeat to the south Asians in the semi-final.

Australia travelled thousands of miles from Lahore to Dubai on Saturday, in the knowledge that they might have to make the return journey on Monday, without playing a game in between.

Pakistan is hosting their first major cricket event in almost three decades, but a compromise of the Champions Trophy has meant that the final will be played in Dubai.
