The Wild prevailed 5-4 on Tuesday night, moving back into first place in the NHL with a hard-fought victory in their first trip to Utah. Matt Boldy scored the winner in the shootout.

Clayton Keller has been growing into his role as captain of Utah Hockey Club.It has not been without its struggles. The 26-year-old has pushed Utah through winless droughts at the beginning of the season while battling his own search for scoring.

I don’t know if members of the Utah Hockey Club front office believe in Santa Claus — but if they do, they might want to get started on their Christmas wish lists. Like every other team, Utah could use a few things. Just in case they haven’t sent their letter in on time, I’ll write one for them.
