I love The Last of Us and Uncharted, but I would also be content to never see another game in those series again. After all, for nearly 20 years now, Naughty Dog has been exclusively developing games in these same two franchises.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is the next game from Naughty Dog, the studio behind The Last of Us. It's taking inspiration from Guardians of the Galaxy, but with your favorite brands thrown in for good measure.

Naughty Dog announced Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet during yesterday's Game Awards ceremony, which is also where we learned that Hideki Kamiya will be returning to direct a sequel to 2006 Zelda -esque action-adventure game Okami.
