Social Security recipients who get Supplemental Security Income benefits are on a normal schedule for July. SSA could withhold money due to overpayment

A minor scheduling irregularity left recipients with two checks in May. While that won't occur in July, it will happen again this year.

The SSA’s official schedule of Social Security benefit payments for July 2025, will be paid on the following days based on birthdate: July 9: If you’re born between day 1–10 of any given month. July 16: If you’re born between day 11–20 of any given month. July 23: If you’re born between day 21–31 of any given month.
