India's precision strikes against 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir which killed about 100 terrorists, codenamed Operation Sindoor, has set a new normal against terrorism, said prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday night.

Prime Minister Modi in his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor said while Pakistan pleaded with India to stop the military offensive, New Delhi considered it only after they promised to stop their misadventure.

Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi on Sunday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's national address following Operation Sindoor, calling it a bold declaration of New India's doctrine against terrorism and a powerful reflection of national unity and technological strength.
