A West Bloomfield lottery club recently claimed the prize for a Powerball ticket worth $2 million that was purchased in Detroit, according to the Michigan Lottery. The FDL lottery club's ticket matched the five white balls drawn Sept. 3 — 3, 16, 29, 61 and 69. The Power Play increased the $1 million prize to $2 million.

Members of an Oakland County lottery club purchased several tickets when the Powerball jackpot was more than $1 billion, and they ended up winning a $2 million prize. The FDL lottery club in West Bloomfield won the prize, according to Michigan Lottery officials.

The Powerball drawing was delayed nearly 30 minutes on Monday, Oct. 27 leaving lottery players waiting and wondering.
