A Nazi sympathiser has been found by a court to have prepared a terrorism attack on an immigration law firm after choosing them as a target after reading a Daily Mail article. Cavan Medlock carried a Nazi flag and a knife into a London solicitors' offices in 2020 and then launched an attack on staff.

A British Nazi sympathiser who targeted a prominent immigration lawyer in a knife attack was on Thursday sentenced to indefinite detention in hospital.

A self-identified Nazi carried out a “disgraceful attack on decent hard-working people” at a law firm, a court has heard. Cavan Medlock, 32, was given an indefinite hospital order at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday as a judge said he was “clearly a very dangerous man”.
