The Detroit Lions signed three-time Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams this week, weeks after Adams requested his release from the Tennessee Titans . Adams has been one of the best safeties in the National Football League since being drafted out of LSU with the sixth pick of the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Jets .

The Detroit Lions continue to make roster moves in an effort to help an injury-riddled defense. On Sunday, the team announced the practice squad signing of three-time pro bowl safety Jamal Adams. Jamal Adams was drafted sixth overall by the New York Jets in the 2017 draft.

Jamal Adams didn't want to sign with any NFL team when he was searching for a new home. Adams wants to win a Super Bowl, which is why he agreed to sign on the Detroit Lions' practice squad.  The Lions are 11-1 and are tied for the best record in football.
