Ipswich community is the star of Ed Sheeran’s new music video
The North Shore community has a pretty big role in the new music video for Ed Sheeran’s song, “Old Phone,” which dropped on Thursday. Clocking in at over five minutes, the video features highlights from Sheeran’s trip to Ipswich in March, when fans came to town in droves to catch a glimpse of the singer.
Organisers of a soul music festival said they were shocked when Ed Sheeran announced shows on the same dates just miles away.
Ed Sheeran is playing just three shows in the UK this year, and fans can still buy tickets to the concerts right now.
As Sheeran is shown interacting with fans and getting involved with the community in Ipswich throughout the video, he said that it was his “favourite music video (he’s) ever made,” according to WCVB.
