The show delivered laughs, heartfelt acknowledgements, stirring commemorations, and heaps of the big new game reveals most average people tune in for, all without any major hiccups or anything collapsing under the exhausting weight of a nearly four-hour ceremony.

During tonight’s Game Awards, a lot of big games were announced and a long list of awards were handed out. And that was all fine. There were even some really exciting surprises that I liked. But the best part of the show by far was whenever Statler and Waldorf from The Muppets showed up to heckle host Geoff Keighley and mock the whole affair.

The show's 10th anniversary popped off, with Snoop Dogg performing some bangers, 'Astro Bot' winning Game of the Year, and a rare Harrison Ford appearance.
