Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase has been placed on non-disciplinary paid leave as part of a Major League Baseball investigation into sports betting.

MLB's Department of Investigations is handling the investigation of Guardians pitchers Luis Ortiz and Emmanuel Clase.

Domínguez began the day in his second season with the Baltimore Orioles, who acquired him at the trade deadline last season. One trade later, he was a member of the Toronto Blue Jays, pitching a scoreless inning against their opponent, the Baltimore Orioles.
