ESPN is getting slammed online for ignoring top draft pick Cam Ward and focusing on the Shedeur Sanders draft drama instead. Sanders has been a big story because he remains undrafted as the rounds add up at the NFL Draft in Green Bay.

Ward joined the Hurricanes in 2022 after two seasons with Washington State, taking his game to the next level. He finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy award voting and was named an All-American behind 305 completions on 454 pass attempts. He threw for 39 touchdowns, 4,313 passing and only seven interceptions.

After Miami QB Cam Ward went No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans, the Jacksonville Jaguars made the first big move of the night, trading up to the second pick to select Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter, with the Cleveland Browns sliding down to No. 5 to take Michigan DT Mason Graham.
