The Heritage Foundation’s chief economist, EJ Antoni, who President Donald Trump recently appointed to lead the Bureau of Labor Statistics, told Fox Business ahead of his nomination that the bureau should do away with its monthly job reports.

President Donald Trump nominated conservative economist E.J. Antoni to fill the top spot at the Bureau of Labor Statistics after abruptly firing the previous statistician following a disappointing jobs report earlier this month.

Antoni's nomination comes a week after he posted on social media criticizing the Bureau of Labor's leadership and data.
