EASTON — An investigation is underway after a teenage girl was shot in the face at an Easton apartment complex Tuesday afternoon. Officers responding to a report of a shooting at the Avalon apartment complex on Robert Drive around 2:30 p.m. found the girl suffering from a serious gunshot wound, Easton police told Boston 25 News.

The 16-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries but was listed in stable condition on Wednesday after a shooting in Easton.

The Santa Monica Police Department has made over 40 arrests from the start of the Palisades Fire on Jan. 7 through Jan. 13. The department said all of those arrested were in the city’s evacuation zones,
