Florida Panthers star Brad Marchand broke down in tears as the Boston Bruins played a tribute video for him in his first game back at the TD Garden.

In the span of just 25 seconds, the Bruins had erased a two-goal, third-period lead for the Anaheim Ducks, as tallies from Geekie and David Pastrnak knotted up a seesaw contest at 5-5 with just 5:03 left in regulation.

Brad Marchand, a Bruins cornerstone for more than 15 seasons, will return to Boston to face his former team for the first time since last year’s trade that sent him to Florida. Marchand was dealt to the Panthers at the 2025 trade deadline after serving as Boston’s captain for a year and a half and winning his first title there.
