Vintage stock car racing at Arena Park I ran across a bunch of vintage stock car race photos from 1966, including this fellow, who used to work in the composing room at The Missourian.

There's something about the way speed looks on film. We just feel the car shaking, and our living rooms vibrate as gas pedals are pushed to the floor. Movies about racing have gasoline in their blood.
