Vance Boelter, 57, has been charged in the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses. The Hennepin County Attorney said Monday that her office intends to pursue first-degree murder charges against him as well.

Vance Luther Boelter, the man suspected of gunning down Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband and shooting state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, ended Sunday night with his arrest.

Boelter is facing six federal charges, including multiple counts of murder and stalking, opening the possibility of the death penalty or life in prison if he's convicted.
