A 38-year-old man died in a shark attack off Western Australia on Saturday, the second fatal incident reported in the country this year.

Paul de Gelder was training with the Australian Navy in Sydney Harbour when a massive shark suddenly exploded out of the water and tore into his body in just seconds. The attack ripped off his arm and leg while his teammates desperately fought to stop him from bleeding to death before help arrived.
