DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a head-on collision in the Pee Dee. The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed the crash happened Wednesday around noon on Oats Highway near East Seven Pine Street.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C.C (WOLO)– South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in Sumter last week. SC Troopers say on Friday, February 28 before 10 p.m, a pedestrian was attempting to cross U.S. Highway 15 at Lewis Road when they were hit by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

One person was killed Monday and another was injured when two SUVs driving in opposite directions collided on a Richland County road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The collision happened at about 8:45 a.

There’s an investigation to determine if the 14-year-old died from the initial accident or being struck by the vehicle.

Investigators are determining if 14-year-old Faith Williams died in a dirt bike crash or was hit by another vehicle after finding a car part at the scene.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) reported the death of a person following a crash Tuesday morning on Sparkleberry Lane near Wotan Road.

The driver, identified by the Horry County Coroner’s Office as 31-year-old Darius Holmes, was the only person in the car. Holmes died from his injuries. SCHP is investigating the crash.
