Reigning champions India will defend their ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup title after beating England in the semi-finals by nine wickets. Although the final margin of victory was comprehensive, this was the hardest they have been pushed with England flying out of the blocks after electing to bat.

India advanced to the ICC Women's U-19 T20 World Cup final by defeating England by nine wickets. Kamalini scored 56 not out, while spinners Parunika Sisodia and Vaishnavi Sharma restricted England to 113 for eight.

The defending champions secured their place in the final with a commanding nine-wicket victory over England in the second semi-final.

Parunika had a major task to achieve after England were off to a flying start, racing to 37 for no loss after four overs. She made an instant impact, removing Jemima Spence and Trudy Johnson to stem the flow of runs, before coming back to dismiss the dangerous Katie Jonesas the rivals were restricted to 113/8.
