DOGE – led by billionaire Tesla CEO Elon Musk – is carrying out President Donald Trump’s mission to shrink the federal government. It has laid off thousands of federal workers and says it has canceled billions of dollars in contracts.

Several people were injured Wednesday morning at the California State Prison, Sacramento, according to the Folsom Fire Department. People with critical to moderate injuries from a "Multi-Casualty Incident" were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, the fire department said.

Some of the agencies affected include NOAA, the National Forest Service and the FDA across cities in California. But some details are less clear.
