Three children were rescued after they fell in the water while playing on a frozen pond in North Carolina. This happened about 5 p.m. Thursday in Winston-Salem. Officials said two of the children were rescued and taken to the hospital to be evaluated. They said a third child, who was in the water longer, is in critical condition.

A Triad couple is warning neighbors about a thief who appears to be dressed as an Amazon employee. Peter Torres said someone stole packages from the porch of his Winston-Salem home Sunday evening. He shared a security camera video from his home in the 3400 block of Kinnamon Road.
