The Ohio State football team arrived in Atlanta on Friday, and it didn’t take long for us to hear from head coach Ryan Day and some of the team. Not only did Day provide some comments directly off the plane on the tarmac — which seems like an odd place to hold a press conference — but he came back on Saturday with some media availability as well.

Former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz and Ohio State coach Ryan Day are still trading barbs before both teams play each other in the College Football Playoff national title game.

Ohio State RB Chip Trayanum plowed through the middle of Notre Dame's defensive line for a 1-yard touchdown on third-and-goal with one second left on the clock to seal the win. During a postgame interview with the NBC broadcast, Day, unprompted, went off on Holtz in a clip that went instantly viral.
