New York got off to a slow start by scoring only 19 points in the first quarter. The Knicks found a way to get off to a halftime lead thanks to the dynamic play from Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson. Brunson finished with 22 points and 12 assists in the win. Towns finished with 32 points and 18 rebounds along the way as well.
The Knicks will face a similar challenge on Sunday, when they travel to Boston to face the reigning champion Celtics, another team that ranks atop the NBA in three-point attempts and efficiency.
