The National Weather Service issued a report at 11:10 p.m. EDT on Tuesday for strong thunderstorms until 11:30 p.m. EDT for Mackinac County. Residents can be ready for wind gusts of up to 40 mph.

It’s very likely that as the evening continues, wind gusts could be over 40 mph for the outer Cape, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and Block Island, according to the National Weather Service.
