Egg prices are soaring across the country, with some stores charging over $10 for a dozen — but shoppers have found one grocery store where the prices have stayed relatively affordable: Trader Joe’s.

Kroger has not imposed a nationwide rule on eggs but says some local stores are asking customers to limit purchases to two dozen at a time.

Several major retailers are imposing restrictions to help ensure customers can still by eggs as the deadly bird flu runs rampant.

"Due to ongoing issues with the supply of eggs, we are currently limiting egg purchases to one dozen per customer, per day, in all Trader Joe’s stores across the country," Trader Joe's said in a statement to MarthaStewart.
